Unfortunately, the event has had to be cancelled due to traffic management challenges within the Wentworth Woodhouse site and the surrounding village.

 This decision was not made lightly, and we share your disappointment. Regrettably, the circumstances leading to this cancellation are beyond our control. Despite our best efforts, we are unable to rectify the situation without significant additional financial resources and by imposing limitations on the number of attendees.

 On behalf of the entire team at the National Emergency Services Museum and our dedicated volunteers involved in organising the 999 show, I extend our deepest gratitude for your support!

 We understand the inconvenience and disappointment this news may cause, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.

 Thank you once again for your understanding and support, and we hope to be in contact at a later date as we look at options for 2025.

 On a much smaller scale, we will be holding our extremely popular ‘999 family fun day’ at The Moor shopping centre in Sheffield on Sunday, 12 May. If you are able to support this event, please do get in contact.

We can all say that, despite our age, we love blue lights and nee-naws! Whenever we hear the sirens, we all have a quick look at what’s going on. 

Well, we will bring the lights and sirens to you. From today’s emergency services and all the way back to your horse drawn pumps, we have them all on display. There’s live displays too so come and join in the fun.
